Mirror Dinghy on Registered, Roadworthy Trailer in Randburg, Gauteng for sale

This Gunter Rigged Mirror (SN54901) is in excellent condition all round and has no leaks! It was refurbished in 2014 using a liquid penetrating epoxy injected into all areas inside and outside the centerboard casing. Some small areas of rot were removed around the gunwale using a blend of liquid epoxy, sawdust and in some cases talcum powder for thickening. The hull was repainted with 3 coats of Glatex 8. Old horn cleats on the mast were replaced with good quality aluminium clam cleats and the mainsheet fair-leads and cleats were moved from the gunwale onto the thwart. It comes with a very good condition Mainsail and Jib (No Spinnaker). Standing rigging is solid. All running rigging except for halyards has been replaced. Foils and Spars are in good condition. Included in price are dolly, two life-jackets, two paddles, two oars (rowlocks not fitted but included in sale) as well as various other bits and bobs.
The trailer was originally designed and built for a Fireball and is of a particularly sturdy construction which could easily handle a much larger boat if required. It was last roadworthied in 2014 and all license fees are up to date.
This Mirror took 22nd place out of 231 boats in the 2015 LDYC Round the Island Race. It has been stored indoors over the 3 year period that I have owned it and as far as I can establish by previous owners as well. asking R18000.00 onco
