Description
VW shifter rod bushing. This bushing fits the horizontal main shaft rod where it passes through its' support bracket. These typically wear out with use. Inspect yours, if it is showing signs of wear, replace it.
Large orange bushing at either end of main shift rod under car. One located in shifter box, the other in bracket at steering rack.

Shifter very floppy.
